Vaasan Ruoppaus Oy undertakes water engineering and dredging projects and carries them out so that the requirements of the customer are met. We build on long-term customer relations, which we strive to further improve. The purpose of the Vaasan Ruoppaus Oy quality system is to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous development of company activities. Our objective is an efficient, profitable and flexible operation. Quality is established in preparation for production and on site. It does not do itself but requires systematic quality control and assurance, including careful preparation of contracts and thorough orientation into incoming projects, specification of responsibilities within the company and on site, adequate advance planning and inspections, continuous assessment of efficiency, and improvement of any activity when required. These procedures and the quality documents prepared to facilitate their implementation form the basis of the Vaasan Ruoppaus Oy quality system.

Our operation is being continuously developed on the basis of both internal assessment and feedback from customers. We carry out every improvement that is required for us to be able to answer the needs of our customers and partners at present and in the future, even in changing conditions. This way we make our operation efficient and profitable. Every one of our employees is responsible for taking the necessary action after detecting a defect in his or her work. All our employees are highly skilled and are personally responsible for the quality of their work.

Environmental aspects are a daily concern in our production. This is why we used the standards of ISO 14001 when establishing our quality system. We strive to promote sustainable development by searching for new, unconventional technical solutions and by using natural resources efficiently. To build trust within our organization, in our customers as well as in the public, we are always ready for open dialogue on our environmental efforts and the environmental features of our products and services.

We observe the law, regulations and other rules, permit conditions and our own environmental requirements. We take preventive action to reduce the environmental effects of our operation and assess the environmental impact of every new activity in advance. Before signing a contract, we evaluate the operation, including the environmental work, of the contractors, subcontractors and other partners involved. The customer's wishes are always respected within the limits set by the law, regulations and our quality system.
